Tenders, Requests For Proposals & Expressions Of Interest

Request for Proposals - South Australia Works in the Region

Adelaide Hills Regional Development (AHRD) and the South Australian Government, through the South Australia Works in the Regions program are responsible for projects that provide a pathway to employment for the Adelaide Hills community.

Industry bodies, Registered Training Organisations, Local Government, Employment related agencies and/or Community groups/agencies are invited to submit a proposal for one or more of the following projects:

  • Youth (16 - 24 years) Training & Employment Project
  • Mature Aged (40+ years) Training & Employment Project
  • Indigenous Training & Employment Project
  • Volunteer Step project
  • Disability Placement Project

Funding allocations vary from project to project and all projects are subject to funding availability. More information on the projects, funding allocations and application details can be found in the following documents:

Application to Become a Preferred Training Provider for the Adelaide Hills Career Development Centre

The South Australia Works in the Regions Program is a South Australian Government initiative managed by the Adelaide Hills Regional Development Board in the Adelaide Hills Region.  South Australia Works in the Regions is a community-based program, which is aimed at providing local people with the education, training and personal support to gain employment, remain in employment longer or progress in employment.

The Board is seeking expressions of interest from Training Providers capable of delivering training/skills formation to disadvantaged job-seekers in one or more of the following areas:

  1. A nationally endorsed training package, accredited courses or skills sets leading to Statements of Attainment.
  2. Pre-vocational skills training (can be a combination of both accredited and non-accredited training). 
  3. Workshops (mostly non-accredited training) delivering skills in job search techniques, preparing high quality resumes, preparing effective job applications, personal development, addressing job selection criteria and interview coaching.
