Broadband Development in the Adelaide Hills.

Based in Mount Barker, this two year project(2007-2009) was funded by the Australian Government’s Clever Networks program, as part of the Connect Australia package and aimed to enhance understanding of, access to, and use of broadband in the Adelaide Hills Region. The focus was upon increasing broadband availability and use throughout the Adelaide Hills region. This included uses in education, research, health, business, in the delivery of government services and by the community. The project aimed to:

* increase awareness, skills, capabilities, and enhanced business practices.

* advocate sustainable, affordable and practical broadband services.

* support, encourage, and inform infrastructure providers.
