Adelaide Hills Employment and Workforce Development Network

In mid 2008 the Network underwent a name change from the Employment and Skills Formation Network to the Employment and Workforce Development Network to capture a shift in focus within the South Australia Works in the Regions Program. Disadvantaged groups will remain a core focus of the Program but with better linkages with industry and employer groups.

The Network is instrumental in planning the region's skills and training needs. The Network is focussed upon developing and implementing strategies and associated actions, forging partnerships and understanding grant opportunities. Participation on the Adelaide Hills Employment and Workforce Development Network is open to all members of the community who have a commitment to advancing local employment, skills formation and workforce development issues in the Adelaide Hills Region.
